DRAWING IN THE SERVICE OF MEANING

Bring the essentials
into focus.

Words, ideas and different perspectives. Graphic facilitation gives them a shared visual form.

I listen, identify the key messages and connect them with words, drawings and diagrams. Each visual is shaped around your subject, your audience and how you plan to use it after the event.

IN ACTION / LARGE-FORMAT DRAWING

Drawing on
a bigger scale.

Alongside visual summaries, I also create freehand murals and collective portraits. Larger formats to tell a story, illustrate different trades and put people in the picture.

03 / FROM THE FIRST CONVERSATION TO THE FINAL VISUAL

A simple process.
A thoughtful eye.

The drawing begins before the first stroke: by listening to what you need.

01

Define the brief

Your goals, audience, programme and key messages. We also agree on the format, location and intended uses.

02

Prepare the visual

Using the material you share, I prepare visual starting points and a layout. Depending on the project, some elements may be drawn in advance.

03

Draw as the discussion unfolds

I listen, summarise and build on the visual through the discussion. In a collaborative format, the group’s contributions become part of the result.

04

Take away a visual record

The finished visuals and a photographed or digitised version, as agreed in the quote. Reuse arrangements are defined together.

PRACTICAL DETAILS

Before
we begin.

What is the difference between live recording and a collaborative mural?

In live recording, I visually summarise the conversations and presentations. A collaborative mural also includes spaces where the group can add words, ideas and contributions. The choice depends on your goal.

Do participants need drawing skills?

No. Contributions can be words, ideas, small drawings or spoken comments. We prepare the format with you to suit the audience.

What do you need before the event?

The programme, subject, goals, number of participants and useful documents. We also discuss the available space, materials and how the drawing fits into the event.

How much does an intervention cost?

The quote depends on preparation, on-site time, number and size of visuals, location and deliverables. Send me a few details so I can suggest a suitable format and price.

Can we reuse the visuals after the event?

Yes, reuse is agreed in the quote: internal communication, reports, websites or social media, for example. The photographed or digitised version and publication arrangements are defined in advance.
